Housing Development
Resident Services
WBC CDC ensures that our apartment communities are more than bricks and mortar - we strive to make them home and connected to the neighborhood. WBC CDC provides on-site resident services at Wayland Village Senior Apartments. This help is provided directly by volunteers or through referral to partner agencies in the community. Our goal is to improve the quality of life and well-being of residents to help them sustain housing they can afford with benefits including: events and social activities; wellness visits in partnership with University of Maryland; and computer training.

Multifamily Development
WBC CDC has played a role in the development of 92 units of new construction affordable rental housing in Forest Park. At inception, the project represented the first new construction multifamily project in over a decade. WBC CDC has acted as development partner or consultant. For future projects, WBC CDC looks forward to being the sole developer/general partner.
Single-Family Homes
In middle market neighborhoods, housing preservation is a necessity. WBC CDC has acted as sole developer where we bring a tenacity to work through the toughest problems, the ability to inspire teamwork, and our commitment to the community. For the future, WBC CDDC looks forward to assisting homeowners with maintenance and repairs and to redeveloping vacant for homeownership.
Housing Rehabilitation Assistance Programs
In the future, WBC CDC will assist residents of Forest Park and surrounding neighborhoods with applications for housing rehabilitation and repair.
